: FishBytes is a fishing log app that helps you track your catches, trips, and fishing spots with minimal effort.
: FishBytes is designed to focus on capturing authentic fishing experiences and validating catch photos. As a result, we don't currently support importing data from other apps. We're always evaluating new features, and integration with other platforms might be considered in the future.
: Your catch information is stored locally on your phone in a private database. You can choose to sync your data to the cloud later when you are later connected to the internet.
: FishBytes is designed to work offline. You can track your catches, trips, and locations even without an internet connection. Your data is stored locally on your device. When you're connected to the internet, you can access satellite map views and sync your data. Offline functionality is a key feature of FishBytes.
: FishBytes uses your phone's GPS to track your location during trips and when you log catches. The app also can record the time of your catches and any lost fish, along with the duration of the fight. Information like this helps you analyze your fishing patterns and improve your future fishing trips.
: For a more hands-free experience, you can pair a Flic2 Bluetooth button to your phone. Then a simple click of the button can instantly log a bite or hookup, letting you record lost fish and fight times without touching your phone. This is especially useful for situations where you want to stay focused on your fishing.

: Currently, FishBytes doesn't have an export feature. We understand the value of having your data accessible, so it's on our roadmap to add this functionality. If FishBytes were to ever cease operations before we could add this feature, we would provide a method for you to download your data.
: Yes, you can delete your data from the app by going to the Account tab and selecting 'Delete Account'. Visit our account deletion guide for step-by-step instructions on permanently removing your data.
